Boat is located in: Sodus Point, New York
For sale – a well maintained and fully functional Trojan 8.6 meter.
The boat is well suited to long trips, or multiple days aboard with its handling and tankage.
If you want lots of days aboard in comfort here’s the ride.. she’s very large for a 32 foot boat and She’ll cruise at 25mph (at 3200rpms) all day long.
You won’t find one in better shape, with new carpets (seagrass in the cockpit and thick pile in the interior), new interior wood flooring and crystal clear bimini enclosure to weather the storm.
She has a queen in the vbirth and a full in the aft.
The vinyl in the cockpit bench has been redone as well as an extended swim platform.
This is a great weekender at a very modest price.
Located in Sodus Point, easy to come take a look at.
Here’s a review from the web: The Trojan 8.6 Meter Express is a conservative mid-cabin family cruiser with expansive interior accommodations (for a 29-footer) and good performance.
Hull construction is solid fiberglass, and her Delta-Conic hull design insures a stable ride in most conditions.
The floorplan of the 8.6 is arranged with a queen size bed in the V berth and double bed in the aft stateroom, a full-size convertible dinette, a complete galley, and a small head - a practical layout taking full advantage of the relatively wide beam.
The cockpit is set up with a triple-wide elevated helm seat, removable bench seating at the transom, and a transom cut-out for easier access to the swim platform.
An affordable boat when she was new, the absence of a modern Euro-style wraparound windshield and integral swim platform gives her a very conservative appearance compared to most the competition.
Standard 260hp stern drives will cruise the Trojan 8.6 Meter Express at a brisk 25 knots and reach a top speed of about 37 knots.
Hull Type: Modified-V.
Deadrise Aft: 14°. 9,500 lbs.
Displacement. 140 Gal.
