Boat is located in: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Gerry Douglas' design goal for the Catalina Morgan 440 Deck Salon was to build a long-distance offshore cruiser, offering both impressive sailing speed and a smooth, predictable motion.
Selected as Cruising World’s "Boat of the Year" for it’s size category when introduced - this yacht does exactly that.
We purchased "Excursion" two years ago from the original owner and have enjoyed her as our home!
However, life has led us back to land but "Excursion" is ready to explore new waters!
Over the past two years, we have invested over $70k upgrading "Excursion" to enable us to safely and confidently live aboard fulltime on anchor.
She is currently sailing the Virgin Islands and plans to return to Fort Lauderdale around June 1st.
At that point the yacht will be listed with a broker with an increase in asking price.
A yacht delivery along the east coast is possible after purchase.
For sale separately: 2019 Highfield UL310HYP dinghy with 2020 Tohatsu MFS15ES for $4,500.
