33’ 1957 ATKIN Gaff SCHOONER Fully Restored 2012-2018.
Ready to cruise again to Maine. Reduced asking price $25,500. Replaced: White oak sawn frames , 3" floor timbers all fastened with SIBR bolts.
The lower planks replaced Atlantic white cedar. Lead keel/ bronze bolts.
All planks were refastened with SIBR screws.
New cypress deck beams.
The new deck: two 1/2"layers of mahogany marine plywood and 2 epoxied fiberglass . The mast steps 3/8"; SS plates.
Diesel engine rebuilt 2012.
Very good overall well maintained in general .
Much recent work in refit in last couple of years .

Hurricane mooring- consisting of 800 lbs.= Two 100lb fisherman anchor with one fluke arm cut off + two 1.25” chain , each 30’ long, 3/4” swivel, shackled together with a 15’ of ½” chain up to buoy .

This restoration cost me over $100.000 but that number scares people.
