This classic well built boat was built to last and is need of a younger owner to continue to keep her alive.
Her 40+ degrees of flare make her very seaworthy.
She is planked fore and aft with 5/ 4 Atlantic white cedar over white oak timbers.
The washboards are of Douglas Fir and we’re fiberglassed to protect the hull from fresh water to avoid any rotting of the hull.
She was repowered in 2011 with a V6 to replace the original 4 cylinder engine.
This gave her what she needed to get to port quickly if needed.
The engine is fresh water cooled including the exhaust manifolds .The hours on the engine are 149 after the repower.
The manifolds and exhaust ells were replaced at the end of the season in 2017.
The transmission is a 1:91 hydraulic gear swinging a 16/1 5 RH wheel.
There are 2 steering stations, forward wheel and the aft tiller stick .
The steering is manual with 5/16 stainless steering gear.
Her high bow and sleek shear gracefully
taper low toward the stern which is great for trotlining.
Washboards are wide and work great for hand tonging oysters.
The speed is a pleasant 12 it’s at 3200 RPM and can make over 18kts at WOT.
This boat is great for putting and cruising and seems to attract onlookers.
She would also work well as a picnic style boat or possible water taxi.
Having the tuck in the stern makes anchoring from the stern a breeze.
